Goughland.com began as the online companion to "Goughland," a social studies classroom at Ponderosa High School in Shingle Springs, California.

In the past few years Goughland has expanded its borders to meet the needs of a growing and varied citizenship: Goughland alumni, new and experienced Teachers, Virtual Educators, Consulting clientele, "Big Picture" people, and those with Insight.
